The Network Board of Directors
Our Board of Directors is compiled entirely of foster parents who equally represent foster families from every region of the province.
The Network divides the province of Manitoba into three regions. Although members of the fostering community have many of the same challenges regardless of where they reside, these regions have been grouped by community amenities or access to amenities. Amenities include specialized support programs for the children the foster parents are caring for.
Our Board of Directors consists of four foster parents from each of the three regions, for a total of 12 members. Officers of the board include; Board President, three Vice-Presidents (one from each region), a Treasurer, and a Secretary. There are also standing committees that are key to the operation of Network programming, including the Education Committee, the Executive & Personnel Committee, the Policy Committee, the Peer Support Committee, the Nominating Committee, the Finance & Resource Development Committee and the Conference Committee.

The Network Executive Director
| The Network has been blessed with a long line of influential leaders in the role of Executive Director. Candace Seymour, the current incumbent has been in the role since 2006 and has aided in improvements to Network governance and programming. Her support to the Board of Directors and staff has created inroads to the grassroots approach to foster family networking in the province of Manitoba. |  |
