Discount Card
A Discount Card that is to be used in conjunction with a reduced (to 25%) copy of your current procincial foster care license can be obtained from the office. One per family is complimentary but additional cards are distrubuted at a cost of $3.00 for additional family members.
The list of merchants is growing as this is a new program and will be placed in the newsletter periodically. If you are aware of a business that is not listed and would like us to contact them please contact the office at 940-1280 or Toll Free at 1-866-458-5650.
Merchant Discount Card Program
As a benefit to foster families, certain participating merchants in the Province of Manitoba have agreed to provide eligible foster families who have registered for the Manitoba Foster Family Network Merchant Discount Card Program with varying discounts on products and services!
Participating merchant information made available to the Manitoba Foster Family Network will be listed on our website and may be updated or amended from time to time. The listing of this information on the Manitoba Foster Family Network website or elsewhere should not be interpreted as an endorsement or promotion by the Manitoba Foster Family Network of any participating merchant. As merchant participation is voluntary and information is provided by merchants from time to time, the Manitoba Foster Family Network does not warrant that participating merchant information will be up to date or error-free, and accepts no responsibility or liability for any products or services provided by participating merchants. The Manitoba Foster Family Network reserves the right to discontinue the Merchant Discount Card Program, or its involvement in same, at any time by providing notice on its website.
Licensed Manitoba Foster Parents are automatically eligble to participate in the discount program. Foster parents may obtain the card by contacting the Manitoba Foster Family Network. Foster parents must present the discount card and a reduced copy of their current provincial license to obtain discounts from participating discount providers. Merchants reserve the right to ask for photo ID.
